Current Legal Issues of Google Books

There has been much opposition to the Google Books library project. Publishers, authors and other organizations have brought suite to Google, claiming that Google Books attempt to digitize books has violated their copyright rights because they are protected from unauthorized reproduction. In this section I will look at two current cases facing Google Books, copyright infringement in France, and monopoly issues that came about in the Google Books settlement.
